Biography

Currently I am pursuing my Ph.D. (QIP) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. I am working under the guidance of Prof. Ajit Pal and Prof. Niloy Ganguli. My broad area of research is Search and Topology Management in Peer-to-Peer Networks. Previously, I worked as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at NIT Durgapur from September 1999 to July 2006. I have completed M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University in 1999, B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from University College of Science & Technology (University of Calcutta) in 1997 and B.Sc. in Physics Honours from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur (University of Calcutta) in 1994. I did my higher secondary schooling from R. E. College Model High School Durgapur from 1989 to 1991.
