Awards & Honors for the University

Due to the excellent work done in creating and successfully employing the hybrid ICT based pedagogy, the VC was responsible for the success that brought the following honours for RGUKT, despite that the university did not compete for awards.

• RGUKT received the 10th eINDIA award for IT in Higher Education category for its "ICT Based Hybrid Pedagogy", at eINDIA summit 2014 held at Kovalam on Nov 15th 2014.
• RGUKT received an award at 8th NTA ICT World Communication Summit and Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Rural Education, at the Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Tech (IIEST) at Howrah, West Bengal on 11 Dec 14.
