Implementation of Essentials of NEP 2020 in 2016


Sharing the vision projected by NEP 2020, IIT Bhubaneswar has already been offering courses on in diverse courses, such as, Indian Mathematics (ancient and modern), Heritage Culture and History of Odisha, Functional and Communicative Sanskrit, Substance in Indian Philosophy, Introduction to Indian Philosophy, Odissi dance, Entrepreneurship and Small Ventures, General Studies and Current Affairs, etc., besides many cutting edge technology subjects. The institute is now engaged in revising its undergraduate curricula with the objective of a creating a very innovative, flexible and multidisciplinary curricula taking features of NEP 2020 in to consideration.

Humanities Courses created and offered to impart multidisciplinary education giving emphasis to national heritage including linguistic and inculcate respect for local culture at IIT Bhubaneswar, were as follows. These actions even before NEP2020 is approved in view of the original values, NEP 2020 stands for. Other features like internship have already been a part of the curricula.
