Interested in an internship?

For the year 2020, I am not considering any interns anymore — either for summer or winter.

For summer of 2021, I will consider internship applicants directed through the Summer Research Fellowship Program (SRFP) organized jointly by the three science academies of India. So, if you’d like to work with me as an intern, please apply to SRFP. The deadline for application is usually end of November.

Please note the following points:

• I work on mathematical modelling together with the numerical solutions of the model equations that cannot be solved analytically (which is most often the case)
  
• I do not work on experiments.
  
• I will expect prospective interns to know MATLAB or Python.
  
• It is a big bonus if prospective interns also know how to create basic technical reports using LaTeX.
