Due to the online mode of teaching in the Academic Year 2020-21, I have been presenting lectures to the students through videos uploaded on YouTube. Here are three playlists:

Applied Elasticity: YouTube Playlist,   Course Website

Advanced Mechanics of Solids (ongoing): YouTube Playlist,   Course Website

Further Information on Courses:

Advanced Mechanics of Solids (ME60402)

It is a mandatory course for the first year postgraduate students (Master of Technology) pursing the specialization of Mechanical Systems Design in Mechanical Engineering. Usually, a few Ph.D. students also take this course. It is offered during the Spring semester (January-April).

I taught this course in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

The course page for 2021 is here. It is an online semester.

Applied Elasticity (ME40605/ME60401)

It is a mandatory course for all the fourth-year Dual Degree students as well as the first year postgraduate students (Master of Technology) pursuing the specialization of Mechanical Systems Design in Mechanical Engineering. It is offered during the Autumn Semester.

I taught this course in 2019 and 2020.

The course page for 2020 is maintained here. It was an online semester.

Mechanics of Solids (ME31013)

It is a mandatory course for all the third-year undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering (including Manufacturing stream students). It is offered during the Autumn Semester.

I taught this course for the full semester in 2018; and the first half of it in 2017, 2019, and 2020.

The course page for 2020 is maintained here. It was an online semester.

Mechanics (ME10001)

It is one of the mandatory courses taken by all the first year undergraduate students. It is offered during both the Autumn semester (July-November) and the Spring semester (January-April).

I taught this course in 2019 and 2020.

The course page for 2020 is here.

Fluid Mechanics (ME21101)

It is a mandatory course for second-year undergraduate students from Mechanical Engineering (excluding those from the Manufacturing stream), Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture, and Agriculture and Food Engineering, and it is offered during the Autumn semester (July-August).

I taught this course in 2017, 2018, and the second half of this course in 2016.

More information about the course can be found here.

Thermo-Fluid Science (ME24001)

It is a mandatory course for the second-year undergraduate students of Manufacturing Science and Engineering (i.e. the Manufacturing stream of Mechanical Engineering). It is offered during the Spring semester (January-April).

I taught the fluid mechanics part of this course (i.e. the first half) in 2018 and 2017.
