Computer networks and Internet Technologies: Layered architecture, Switching and routing techniques, Gigabit Ethernet, VLAN, Quality of Services, Web technologies, Muti-media networks, Web services and Service-oriented architecture.
Operating systems support for Data analytics: Virtualization, hypervisor, Virtual machines, Hadoop filesystem, Map reduce.
Enterprise Architecture: analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of enterprise IT solutions. Enterprise modelling using UML, Project management.
Security and Privacy: Security models, Intrusion detection and prevention, Vulnerability analysis, Security auditing, Privacy aspects of data analytics, K-anonymity, L-diversity and T-closeness.
