Dear Friends,

It is our great pleasure to welcome you for the Seminar on Finite Element Analysis-Application & Trends. Objective of the seminar is to provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing among researches, practitioners, scientists, and engineers. Finite element method is great mathematical tool that helps engineers and designers in creating reliable design. The success of FEM software is largely dependent on the skills of the users. It has been found that engineers are very comfortable with basic analysis such and linear static, normal modes, heat conduction etc. However, the engineers require constant update of theirs skills for successfully implementing advance analysis for their design. The engineers need to take microscopic view of design using sophisticated analysis methods to develop cost effective and reliable design. The conference will focus on the application of finite element analysis for design, development and validation of components. The conference will include interesting case studies of real life problems. Problem definition, boundary condition, analysis parameters, interpretation of results and finally use of the result for design of components which will be discussed in the case studies. The participants, the experts and the student can exchange their ideas in open house sessions.

The topics to be covered include (but are not limited to ):

Structural optimization

Linear structural analysis

Non linear structural analysis,

Plastic deformation,

Large deformation and problems

Non linear properties of materials

Composite materials

Fatigue analysis

Dynamic analysis

Fluid flow and

Heat transfer analysis

The participants are advised to sent their specific technical issues and interests. This will help us in organizing presentation effectively.

We look forward to you participation and support in the national seminar
