Brief Biography and Professional Activities


Dr. Anirban Mukherjee completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 1998. He did his post-graduate and doctoral studies in the area of Image Processing at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2000 and 2005 respectively. He accepted the offer of Tata Consultancy Services, India and worked in their Embedded Systems Group during 2004-2005 in Kolkata, India. He has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur since 2005 and is the co-ordinator of Medical Signal Processing and Machine Learning group. He is a member of IEEE and is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
